MTB XCR Team Relay Series, Gauteng

MTB XCR Team Relay Series, Gauteng A new and exciting MTB XCR Team Relay Series will be kicking off in Gauteng on the 27th November 2016. The first event will be held at Rosemary Hill.

The series will follow a similar format of an XCO race, 4-6kms route with some technical obstacles. Teams of 4 riders will complete lap's, in a relay format with a transition zone. U12 Teams to complete 4 laps, 1 lap per rider
U14 - Open Teams to complete 8 laps, 2 laps per rider

This format of racing is super exciting and also allows for a larger spectator value = GREAT vibe!! The purpose of the series is to satisfy the need for something new and exciting, that will draw all levels of riders looking to explore an XCO kind of format, but in teams. It will allow for upskilling of existing riders and development of newer riders, but more importantly it will be fun, exciting, and refreshing!!! There is also an opportunity for corporate team entries and can be used for Team Building Events as well.

Have a look at the Bezhoek Extreme MTB Festival. 2 days of racing, incl tented accommodation from Saturday evening, including meals from Saturday lunch to Sunday lunch. Just 90mins outside PTA on a private reserve. Awesome trails!!!
