Yemoja imbues the name of the ‘goddess of the ocean’ and the ‘feminine principle of creation’. We felt that our designs were womanly and also the flowing aspect of water was harmonic with our dream, to take the vibrant, African fabrics and textiles from Cape Town across the seas. Yemoja is bursting colors, Yemoja is happiness, diving into life to the fullest and intertwining cultures and countries
throughout the world like our oceans do too. We handprint canvas and pair them with a brown or black vintage leather which makes for a beautiful clutch, handbag or an iPad-cover. For the lining we use authentic African fabrics, sourced from the Cape Town markets. Each item is handprinted, designed and handmade by us personally. Every piece is unique. This is to ensure it is special and extraordinary just like you.
