⚽ NY91 SOCIAL LEAGUE – MATCH DAY 16 WRAP-UP 🔥
2025 SEASON 2


Match Day 16 delivered fireworks: outrageous scorelines, ruthless finishing, and title contenders reminding everyone exactly why they’re at the top. Defenders were once again in witness protection — goals rained down all day.

🔸 Abadali 15–3 Osabwerera Mbuyo
Abadali came out in full throttle. Crisp passing, sharp finishing, and zero hesitation. Fifteen goals. A statement. Mbuyo could only watch the tide rise. Abadali tighten their grip on the top three with authority.

🔸 Atletico FC 5–4 Siseko FC
A nine-goal thriller packed with heart attacks. Atletico — in their bold red and white — found rhythm late and refused to crack. Siseko pushed hard, but Atletico’s late composure secured a massive three points for the men in red and white.

🔸 Man Power 24–4 The Vee
Man Power are no longer playing football — they’re conducting masterclasses. Twenty-four goals, wave after wave of pressure. Clinical. Relentless. Terrifying. The Vee grabbed four, but Man Power turned the field into their playground once again.

🔸 TT Legends 13–8 Bright Legends
A tale of two fires: TT Legends lit the match first. Bright Legends kept nipping back, but TT’s discipline in the final third kept them ahead. A high-scoring clash that keeps TT steady in mid-table traffic.

🔸 Dream Team 8–4 Social FC
Dream Team — loud in black and yellow — switched on the style. Sharp counters, clean finishing, and relentless running. Social FC couldn’t find their footing, and Dream Team punished every slip. Eight goals and a confidence booster for the black-and-yellow engine.

🔸 Gugs Legends 10–2 Piano FC
Clinical, ruthless, inevitable. Gugs Legends controlled the tempo from the opening whistle. Ten goals, silky combinations, and another professional performance. Piano tried to match the pace but were drowned out by Gugs’ consistency and class.

🔥 Match Day 15 brought more goals, more drama and more reasons why defending should come with danger pay. The top two keep trading statement wins — and the scoreboards keep crying for help.

🏁 Siseko FC 13–9 The Vee
Siseko FC and The Vee turned this into a goal fest. Twenty-two goals, zero chill. Siseko edged it with more composure in front of goal — and maybe a bit more stamina.

🏁 Atletico FC 4–11 Man Power
Man Power continue their perfect run, turning Atletico’s home ground into another clinic. Eleven goals, no remorse, no mercy — just business as usual.

🏁 TT Legends 3–6 Abadlali
Abadlali keep ticking along, cool and composed. TT fought hard but couldn’t handle the tempo. A win that keeps Abadlali steady in the top three conversation.

🏁 Dream Team 4–6 Piano FC
Piano FC kept the rhythm going — but Dream Team didn’t make it easy. End-to-end football, a few near misses, and a finish that saw Piano pull clear late.

🏁 Social FC 5–9 Bright Legends
Bright Legends finally lit up the pitch again. Goals galore, vibes high — and Social FC finding the net five times but conceding nine in return.

🏁 Osawberera M. 1–19 Gugs Legends
Pure demolition. Gugs Legends tore through Osawberera with ruthless precision — nineteen goals, endless confidence, and a message sent straight to the top of the table.

2025 SEASON 2



🔥 Match Day 14: goals turned to confetti, nets begged for mercy, and the top of the table got even tighter.

The league didn’t need caffeine this weekend — just pure energy, outrageous scorelines, and a Piano FC performance that might’ve broken a calculator.

🏁 Siseko FC 10–3 Social FC
Siseko put on a fireworks show. Ten goals, good moods, and a Social FC defence that clocked out after halftime.

🏁 Atletico FC 6–7 Abadlali
A tense, back-and-forth battle that came down to small margins. Atletico fought hard, but Abadlali showed their experience when it mattered — another big scalp in the bag.

🏁 TT Legends 4–8 Gugs Legends
Legends vs Legends always delivers. Gugs ran the show, TT tried to keep up, and the scoreboard lit up like it was New Year’s Eve.

🏁 Dream Team 9–5 The Vee
Dream Team reminded everyone they can still party with the big boys — nine goals and all vibes. The Vee brought goals, but no discipline.

🏁 Piano FC 27–1 Bright Legends

🌅 Match Day 13: more goals, more stories — and a moment that meant more than football.

Before a single ball was kicked, the league gathered to honour Touch, a brother, a teammate, a spirit of this community. We stood together, observed a moment of silence, and played the day in his memory.

Then, as always… the football did what football does — delivered madness, memories, and scorelines that belong in an action movie.

🏁 Siseko FC 5–0 TT Legends*
TT Legends never made it past brunch. Siseko gladly took the points and stretched their legs in a solo warm-up.

🏁 Atletico FC 5–0 Bright Legends*
Bright Legends must’ve had too much fun the night before — Atletico didn’t mind a stress-free Sunday.

🏁 Dream Team 4–7 Gugs Legends
Dream Team came swinging but Gugs Legends were in no mood to slip. Seven goals later, the scoreboard looked like an arcade machine.

🏁 Social FC 6–20 The Vee
The Vee treated this like a stats-padding session. Twenty goals, no mercy — Social FC officially running out of jokes.

🏁 Piano FC 16–6 Osawberera M.
No one told these two it wasn’t a basketball game. Piano FC keep scoring for fun — Osawberera brought vibes, not defending.

🏁 Touch Legends vs Man Power**
The day’s biggest story. A tribute match that ended with Touch Legends (a combined side with Atletico) handing Man Power a rare loss in what was a poetic tribute match. Touch would’ve loved that ending.

Today we will gather not only to mourn, but to celebrate the life of our friend and brother, Luvuyo “P Touch” Sapepa.

He was more than a teammate — he was family. Always ready with a smile, always ready to serve. Many will remember him not just on the field, but behind the decks as our DJ for the kids, when we came together this past winter to raise 100 school shoes for primary school learners. That was P Touch — turning even charity into a vibe.

His laughter, his energy, and his kindness will echo in this league forever.

Because in the end, it was his soul that touched us all 🕊

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Papi “Baresi” Mbovane, a valued member of Siseko FC and the NY91 Social League family. 🕊️

Baresi was more than just a player — he was a true brother within our community, remembered for his passion on the field and the spirit of unity he brought to those around him. His presence will be deeply missed by teammates, friends, and the entire league.

We convey our sincere condolences to Siseko FC and the Mbovane family during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace.❤️⚽️
