After stunning Man Power 9–8 last week, Siseko have now taken down another top-five team.

The Vee came into the match sitting fifth.

Siseko didn't seem particularly impressed.

At this point, Siseko aren't giant-killers anymore.

They're collecting them. 😭

Gugs Legends continue their ridiculous run at the top, beating Azzuri 15–3.

Man Power beat Atletico FC 12–8 and remain second on 41 points.

Gugs are eight points clear.

But Man Power are still scoring goals for fun and keeping the pressure on.

MATCH DAY 16: DAVID HAS SLAIN GOLIATH! 😭🔥⚽

If there was ever a Match Day that reminded us anything can happen in NY91, this was it.

🏆 THE BIGGEST UPSET OF THE SEASON!

Siseko FC 9–8 Man Power

MAN POWER. 👀

One of the league's most consistent teams. A side that rarely loses. Second place. 12 wins from 15 games coming into Match Day 16.

And Siseko said:

“Not today.” 😭😂

What a result.

A proper David vs Goliath moment and arguably the biggest upset of the season.

The result doesn't just give Siseko three huge points — it also sends a warning to the entire league:

NOBODY IS SAFE.

And perhaps that makes things even more interesting for Gugs Legends.

The league leaders remain unbeaten after another dominant performance, beating Social FC 19–3.

But Man Power's shock defeat has also left the pressure firmly with the league leaders.

🔥 MATCH DAY 15 | PERFECTION ENDS... THE TITLE RACE LIVES!

The streak is over...

After 14 straight victories, Gugs Legends were finally held to a 3-3 draw by Atletico FC. Trailing 3-1 at half-time, Atletico staged a brilliant comeback, capped by Pablo's stunning left-footed volley to earn a famous point. 👏⚽

Elsewhere, defending champions Man Power refused to give up their crown, fighting back to rescue a thrilling 7-7 draw against TT Legends. TT were outstanding and will feel they deserved more, but champions always find a way. 🔥

The Vee kept their top-four push alive with a 9-6 victory over Piano FC, while Social FC edged Abadlali 5-4, thanks to another Bhabha hat-trick after plenty of pre-match banter. Sometimes the best response is on the scoreboard. 😅⚽

Siseko FC (5-0 Bright Legends) and Dream Team (5-0 Azzuri) collected soft points after their opponents failed to honour their fixtures.

🕊️ NY91 LEGENDS SOCIAL LEAGUE | IN LOVING MEMORY OF LUNGISO “TIGAS” MATOLE 🕊️

Tigas was more than just a familiar face around our football community. He was a brother, a friend, and a valued member of the NY91 family. His presence, laughter, and love for our community will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever remain part of our league.

As a mark of respect, all NY91 Legends Social League football activities will be paused this Sunday.

Instead, we invite all our players, supporters, families, and everyone who usually joins us at the field on Sundays to stand with the Matole family during this difficult time.

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we have learned of the passing of our brother, friend, and fellow Legend, Lungiso **Tigas** Matole of Dream Team FC.

The NY91 Legends Social League is more than just football; it is a brotherhood, a family brought together by our love for the beautiful game and the bonds we build beyond the pitch. Today, that family mourns the loss of one of our own.

Tigas was not just a player in our league. He was a member of our fraternity, a familiar face on our sidelines and fields, and a brother whose presence formed part of the spirit that makes our community special. His passing reminds us that life is precious and that the relationships we build through this game mean so much more than the final score.

To his family, friends, teammates at Dream Team FC, and everyone whose life he touched, please know that you do not grieve alone.
