First Hyrox Cape Town done.

Top 61% overall. 39th in our age category. 10th in sandbag lunges.

I went into this wanting to challenge myself, but it gave me more than that. It showed me where I’m strong, where I still need to grow, and what I’m actually capable of when I don’t back down.

There’s something powerful about putting yourself in uncomfortable situations and choosing to stay.

This is just the beginning.

Next event in August. We keep building.

So the workout today was suppose to be just a 8km run. 4kms in I was like ‘this is a bit of a drag, but I gotta push on’…
But of course it wasn’t what my spirit had planned for me, nope it ended up being followed by 25kg (not 20kg) walking lunges…floor press-ups x 3! Then well, ‘let’s go row’, thought it was gonna be just 500m, nope again! 1000m later…well now I had to cool down right? Lol, oh well let’s finish with a 2km run bang!
Lots of lessons learnt, lots of inner convo that I will share in the near future. All-in-all one amazing workout, getting closer to Hyrox ready!

In this interview at his home course at told the story of how this club was formed 65 years ago and how many lives the Nomads have impacted through this incredible game.

Standing there behind the camera lens, hearing his stories, I was reminded of how deeply golf is woven into the fabric of who he is and now, into this chapter of my own journey. I’m beyond grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to share this film with you all. Stay tuned—this one’s special.

Stepping back into the gym, my happy place where ideas flow and reflection happens.

These past six weeks break since Top Surgery have required immense patience, but it's all worth it.

The euphoria and freedom I'm experiencing now exceed anything I envisioned! As we step into 2026, I'm excited for the changes and adventures that will keep me grounded and appreciative, whilst staying authentically me.

I can only hope that 2026 will treat you more than you imagined too!
