Lethal Ladies Basketball Team Cape Town We are a competitive women's basketball club in Cape Town playing in the Western Cape Basketball Lea

We are a ladies basketball club in Cape Town playing in the Western Cape Basketball League. Most of us are working ladies who love basketball and want to continue pursuing our passion. Our philosophy is that since we are older we should all know the fundamentals and thus can keep training focused on how we interact and play as a team. Calling all female players who are looking for a fun, hardworking team of seasoned players to join for the 2024 Basketball Season. We are open to recruiting and ready to meet you! We have players from age 18 to 54 and we play for the love of the game, but also to win!

Please note, that you must have some proper experience in playing basketball to come to trials, for instance, you were on your high school or tertiary institution team. You must understand the rules and be relatively competitive. We unfortunately do not currently teach basketball to newbies or take in very young players with no experience. It is also key that you have transport and can get to and from practice as commitment to training is very important to us.

If you are interested, DM us here and join us for practice on Tuesdays from 7-8:30pm at the Herschel Girls School Indoor courts, in Claremont. Attend 3 sessions and we will confirm if you are a fit!

This is an appreciation post to for helping us prep for SAMBA 2023. Not only do we have the privilege of using their facilities but their awesome basketball team took their time out this week to play us, not once, but twice in preparation for the big weekend ahead. And boy did those girls make us work!!! Big shout out to their coach, the refs and all the players and their parents who came to support. 🙌
