MTO Trails - Jonkershoek members and fellow trail users, please see below MTO trails that will be used for the 15th Jonkershoek Mountain Challenge this coming Sat, 2 May! ⛰️

The race trail markers will be up from Thursday 30 April until Sat 2 May (race day). Please do not tamper or remove any signage during this time, all markers will be removed by the race sweepers👌 Many thanks!

UPDATE: We are sorted for the below, thank you all who offered to help! 🤙

HIKING VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR LMC:
We are looking for two mountain savy, hiking fit individuals to be our support in the mountains for the Limietberg Mountain Challenge Series this coming Sunday, 27th Oct.

Together with a specialist Field Medic, you will be lifted in by 4x4 to within 2.5km of your ultimate destination deep in the Limietberg Nature Reserve. After this short hike, your role is simply to sit tight and if needed mobilise as a team to a runner in need of assistance in the more remote section of the reserve.

All being well and no-one needs help, and you will more than likely just be spending a few hours in the mountains, drinking coffee and cheering on the 150 runners who are tackling the 38km and 21km races.

While it's an early start from Bain's Kloof Eerste Tol, you should be done by 12. Most importantly you must have the gear to be able to keep warm and dry in the mountains.
