Meet the team behind Berg Trek — Mark & Tracy 👋❤️

We’re a husband-and-wife duo who took a leap to bring a cooler bag to South Africa that we knew should’ve been easier to find. Mark’s obsession with fire, coffee, and ice 😂 led us to a recurring problem: soft coolers that either leaked (hello, wet car seats) or couldn’t keep ice frozen past sundown.

As a family always up for a braai with friends, beach missions, or spontaneous road trips with the kids, we knew there had to be something better. And if we were looking for it, chances are others were too.

So we started Berg Trek — built from the ground up to bring you the perfect cooler bag: lightweight, leakproof, and tough enough for real-life adventures.

That idea became the Versacooler.

We tested it. Tweaked it. Took it on adventures (and roped in a few friends for “research” 😅🍺). Now we’ve got a cooler bag made for the way you actually live — to braai, picnic, hike, camp, and chill.
