I was able to lose body fat and build lean muscle at the same time by focusing on three things:
1. Progressive overload with free weight exercises (barbells, dumbbells, glute band and ankle weights).
2. Optimized protein intake to support muscle growth and recovery (enough per meal, not just per day).
3. Fat loss — cutting fat without crashing my metabolism or losing muscle mass.
This is the same method I now coach my clients (online or face-to-face) through:
