Octoberfest Beer Festival The Lions & Edgemead Football Club will be hosting a Beerfest in Edgemead in October 2016 to raise funds for its community initiatives.

Wow! Blown away at the amazing support at our Beerfest! THANK YOU everyone who attended and made it a weekend to remember! You are hard core party animals šŸ˜„ we love it! (remembert to tag your photos!)To the bands Just Adrian Llevado Gravitee & Black Boxā€¦amazing and talented does not cover what you bring to an event! You guys rocked! To our main sponsors SABMiller South Africa, Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages, Japan Marine & Hire It Brackenfell thank you for helping to make the event a huge success. To our volunteers (friends & family) thank you thank you! And then to our Beerfest team Fatima Lino Kotze Martin Kallis Kevin Jazz Cat Rowell Allan Donaldson and David Da Silva who worked so hard behind the scenes for the past few months, you are all legends. Competition time! 43 Days to our Ocotberfest Beer Festival & we decided to spread the love. We are giving away 3 Double Week-End Passes with a free Drink & Meal to 3 lucky participants. All you have to do to enter is select ā€œLikeā€, ā€œFollowā€ and ā€œShareā€ on our page to be eligible to win. Edgemead Octoberfest Beer Festival. Bigger, Better & Back this year!
We had some great input from visitors in 2016, but we are own biggest critics and we are determined to make this festival a memorable one and apply our own lessons learnt. More beer, more variety, more bands and more food vendors right here in Edgemead! Feeling excited? We are!

The event is a labour of love for the volunteers involved which ultimately raises funds for our local communities. So not only are you getting GREAT entertainment, delicious foods & a range of beers on your doorstep, you get to support a community drive at the same time! Come support Lions International on the 13th and 14th of October 2017 at the Edgemead Community Hall. We would love to see you!
