ARC of Franschhoek — Franschhoek's Newest MTB Trail Network
Heads up, this one's a longer ride (and video) than usual, so grab a coffee and settle in. We wanted to properly show you around ARC of Franschhoek's brand new trail network, and that meant not rushing it.
ARC of Franschhoek is one of the most exciting new additions to the Western Cape MTB scene. A trail network built above the Berg River Dam in the Robertsvlei valley, part of a major conservation and land rehabilitation project. You're riding through mountains, fynbos and constantly changing dam views on land that's being actively restored.
In this video we take you from the ARC Club down past the old pump house, across the river at the Riverstone picnic spot, up the climb, into Flight of the Fish Eagle, down to the Wolvekloof River, and back via the Wolvekloof Contour where we join Snake Alley for an epic trail through the mountains (Our Fav).
