~Dear Young Players

There was a time I used my platform to criticize showboating. Primarily because this is what I'd like to see South African players with skill do: Eliminating opponents to create and score goals.

Not this nonsense of being a clown around the ball all in the name of "it's our culture."

I don't know why as Africans we are so comfortable with associating ourselves with clownish behavior.

And any behavior that is rooted in intelligence and effectiveness we think it's foreign.
