RCL Capricorn North District

Every year when we speak of South African Schools Athletics (SASA), two names from Manoe automatically start ringing in our ears without even thinking about them. That's because the duo of Mahlatse Modiba and Tlabo Kobe have made it a habit to carry our name further in the competitions every year.

Last week the duo raced in the District competition, held at Ga-Manamela in Ga-Matlala, and as usual, they were amongst the best of the pack. Tlabo finished 3rd in the Under 16 Boys age group, running the 6km race. His schoolmate, Mahlatse finished 2nd in the Under 19 Boys age group, running the 8km race.

The duo will now partake in the SASA Provincial level to be held at Tom Naude Technical Secondary School in Polokwane, and hopefully our boys will represent us well.

We honored the invitation from the Capricorn North District 3rd annual Excellence Awards.The future seems to be in good hands.The District is now at Position 2 in Limpopo province.

Let's not forget the RCL Deputy President of Capricorn North District Madubanya Lesiba who obtained 100% in Mathematics along with the RCL Treasurer of CND who also got 99% in Mathematics. This shows that anything is possible.

Congratulations to Matsuokwane ya BoMoeketsi .
Matsuokwane secondary school maintains the highest quality performance of 98.1 in term 2 results, with overall average of 50% of admission to bachelor passes. Matsuokwane comes position three in Bahananwa North circuit under the Capricorn North District .

Congratulations to the dedicated matsuokwane class of 2026 for the magnificent performance. Let’s keep the bar up 🫡.

Manoe secondary has achieved another remarkable milestone. Their learners confidently declared, "We can do it again," and indeed they secured an impressive 100% pass rate once again.

We accepted the invitation from the Department of Education to attend the Excellence Awards ceremony, held at Harry Oppenheimer Secondary. As a District that consistently produces quality passes, our District Director aptly notes that excellence thrives where it is shared. Inspired by our leader's words, I firmly believe that the future looks promising for Capricorn North District.

The Excellence Awards ceremony commenced, and the anticipation was palpable as everyone eagerly awaited the announcement of the award recipients. Kgaugelo Thikho from Bahlaloga Circuit secured the Grade 8 position 1 with an impressive average of 90.88%.

Leboho Lethaba obtained Grade 9 position 1, achieving 9 distinctions in her subjects, and is from Manoe Secondary School in Maleboho Central Circuit, also known as The Blue Army, the Blue Nation.

For Grade 10, Mahanyele Kabelo, the RCL Treasurer of Capricorn North District, obtained 100% in Mathematics, and two or three other learners from Dendron SS achieved notable results. Lamola Mmadikata from Dendron SS secured Grade 10 position 1 and has a promising future.

For Grade 11, we have the one and only Seemane Lesedi obtaining an average of 96.33%, I can smell the future inside of her achievement. We have the RCL Deputy President of Capricorn North District obtaining position 16, his name is Madubanya Lesiba.

I wonder what they feed learners at Dendron SS because the majority of the learners in the top 50 are from Dendron SS. For Grade 12, the top 4 include Makgafela Mokgadi, tied with Mohlahla Kgaugelo from Manoe Secondary School. We then have Lephalala Thabang as position 3 and Maitsa Kgaugelo at position 2, both from Dendron SS.

The crème of Capricorn North District is found at Maleboho Central Circuit at a school named The Blue Army, the Blue Nation (Manoe SS), with the position 1 being Ngoepe Onkemetse with an average of 96.83%. Indeed, Kgotlelelo e tliša katlego at Manoe Secondary School.

Learners from Kgoaka SS, Manoe SS, and Dendron SS, we love the work you put in to make our District a quality one; we also appreciate the work done by learners from other schools.

The esteemed Manoe Secondary School, a prestigious school where academic excellence is celebrated weekly through awards presented at assembly. The school proudly refers to itself as "The Blue Army, the Blue Nation." During the first term, the school emerged victorious in a competitive battle with other schools. Furthermore, Manoe Secondary School achieved an impressive feat by securing eight positions in the top ten of the Maleboho Central Circuit. At the Circuit awards ceremony held at Mahlase Secondary School, the school demonstrated its academic prowess, claiming almost all the awards. In addition, the teachers of this institution were recognized for achieving a 100% pass rate in the first term.
