From 5–8 February, Midvaal becomes the heartbeat of South African cycling as it hosts the SA Road, ITT and Para Cycling Championships.

The country’s top riders will go head-to-head over four days of racing, testing their preparation, race craft and determination on Midvaal’s open roads.

We wish all riders, officials and supporters safe travels and an unforgettable championship week. Good luck to everyone lining up on the start line — we can’t wait to see our 2026 national champions crowned! 🇿🇦🏆

I am turning 40 this year and doing Ironman South Africa again – exactly 10 years after my first.
