Match Report: Berlin Tigers RFC vs Bobbies
Final Score: Bobbies 32 – 3 Berlin Tigers
Berlin Tigers RFC travelled to face Bobbies RFC in our final fixture of the Brutten competition. The match was a hard-fought encounter that tested the character and resilience of our young team.
The first half saw the Tigers apply sustained pressure on the home side, matching their physicality and structure. Despite falling behind early, the team’s determination was rewarded with a well-taken penalty that brought the score to 10–3 at halftime.
The second half began with the same intensity, as the Tigers continued to challenge Bobbies both defensively and in open play. However, as the game wore on, fatigue and small errors began to creep in. In the final ten minutes, the match slipped away from us, with Bobbies capitalising on opportunities to extend their lead to 32–3 by the final whistle.
While the result was disappointing, the boys showed heart, commitment, and growth throughout the match. The coaching staff and management are proud of the effort displayed and the progress made this season. The experience gained will serve as a solid foundation as we continue building for the future.
