Hi All Karate-ka friends and family

The Bellville Dojo is moving into new space from monday and gives us another great opportunity to rejuvenate our spirit. Please come and train and for those that we havent seen in years here is a perfect opportunity to come back and train.

The new premises is at
DANCE CRAFT STUDIOS
6 Pioneer street
Bellville

(a little down from where TEAZERS used to be)

We will be training in a small hall until the bigger area around the side is complete (120 square metres!!!!!)
I would like everyone to join me in my excitement on monday.

Training times are as follows.
Monday is the same Juniors 515-615pm
Seniors 615-730pm

Wednesday Seniors 730-845pm
Thursday Juniors 530-630pm

Once we are settled we may add morning class or even saturday class depending on interest.

To All Karate-ka, Parents and Friends

There are 6 students from the Western Cape JKA including myself that have been selected as part of the team/squad to represent SA at the World Shoto-cup Championships in October in Tokyo later this year. Out of the 6, 4 students have expressed their availability, Jon Williams, Louis Blok, Leanne Jordaan, Bianca Ridley, and we have another 2 students that may be included at the final selections in March Candice Isaacs and John Diaz. Now unfortunately we have to raise our own funds to attend the cost is in excess of R30 000/person and the plummeting rand is not helping.

We have been fortunate enough to hold a fundraising event at the Willowbridge Barnyard Theatres, on Wednesday 5 March 2014. We have 100 tickets to sell but would love to sell much more if possible.

We are selling tickets @ R150/person (tickets are normally 135/person) to the “80’s vs 90’s” show at the Barnyard Theatre on 5th March, show starts at 8pm, you can bring your own food or get food there however it is cash bar. Please consider to take a table with family and friends to come and have some fun and support us at the same time.

We have 2 tables of 8 people and 7 tables of 10 people and seats around the ramp. Please support us by taking a table or individual tickets, please drop me an e-mail and let me know if you want a table or individual tickets (I will make up tables) and how many. (please whoever books the tickets please collect the money from your peeps and deposit it into our account).

First please drop me an email and book tickets (let me know if you want a table of 10 or 8 or how many individual tickets asap)
When depositing into our account please use this reference system B-for barnyard, T-for table or S-for single tickets, how many and your name. example BT1David (Barnyard, table, 1 table for David). Or BS4Carol-(Barnyard, 4 single tickets for Carol).
Please deposit the money (table of 10 will be 150 x10 = 1500 or single tickets 150/person x how many) into our bank account on or before the 14 February so we can see if we need more tickets.

Hi All Karate-ka and friends
We will be starting off this new school term in the new dojo. Starting from today 15 July 2013. The dojo is situated at the Metropolitan head offices. If travelling on the N1 towards Paarl take the Durban/ W van Schoor turn off, turn left at the robots as if going to Tygervalley Shopping centre, take a left at the next robot into Mispel rd and then a left into Parc Du Cap (you will have to sign in with security just put that you there for Karate ) once through the beam take left again and park we are in building 3. Any problems please call me.
Training times will be as follows Monday and Wednesday
Juniors 5:15pm-6:15pm
Seniors 6:15pm-7:45pm.
