Reserva tu espacio aquí:

I came into today’s session thinking we were going one direction…but the conversation shifted.

Before every session, I pray and invite the Holy Spirit to lead the conversation where it needs to go. Sometimes we come in with a plan… and God lovingly redirects it.

Today we talked about postpartum, pregnancy, miscarriage, loss, and the silent things women carry while still trying to be strong for everyone else.

So many women are suffering quietly.
So many are carrying pain they’ve never fully said out loud.

That’s why I love creating spaces where women can come as they are.
No pressure. No pretending. No perfect answers.

In this space, you set the pace.
You bring what’s on your heart.
And together, we make room for healing and for God to move.

Sometimes healing starts
when a woman finally feels safe enough
to say it out loud. 🤍

Women need more safe spaces.
More honesty.
More compassion.
More conversations that go deeper than “I’m fine.”

Because the strongest women are often carrying the heaviest things silently.

Some of the people who are hurting the most…
are the ones everyone calls “strong.”

The ones who keep showing up.
Keep working.
Keep helping others.
Keep smiling.

But functioning is not the same thing as healing.

A lot of people learned very early in life that they had to survive, push through, and keep going no matter what they felt inside.
And eventually that survival mode becomes their personality.

Being strong all the time is exhausting.

God never asked us to pretend we’re okay.
He invites us to bring Him the truth of what we carry.
🤍Check on your strong friend.
🤍Check on your strong family member.
Sometimes the people who seem the “most okay” are carrying the heaviest emotional weight.
And if you are the strong one….
I pray someone reaches out to you too. 🤍
📖 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.— Matthew 11:28 (NIV)

You can love your parents…
and still acknowledge the ways they hurt you.
Both can be true.
Healing requires honesty.
Not pretending.
Not minimizing.
Not carrying guilt for recognizing what impacted you.
Acknowledging pain is not dishonoring your parents.
It’s allowing God to bring truth, healing, and restoration to the places that wounded you.

You do not have to deny your pain in order to love someone.
Some of the deepest healing begins when we stop saying
“it wasn’t that bad”
and start being honest about how it affected us.
📖 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.— John 8:32 (NIV)
God can hold your love for them…
and your healing too. 🤍

Some people only know the healed version of me. -
•They don’t know the little girl who learned to survive before she learned to rest.
•The version of me that carried fear, trauma, shame, insecurity, and pressure silently for years.
•The version of me that smiled while struggling internally.
- Healing with God forced me to confront parts of myself I spent years trying to bury.
- Patterns. Pain. Anger. Hyper-independence. Fear of vulnerability.
And the truth is… healing is not pretty all the time.
- •Sometimes it looks like grieving.
•Sometimes it looks like boundaries.
•Sometimes it looks like finally admitting you’re tired. - But somewhere in the middle of all the breaking, God started rebuilding me.
- That’s why Beauty From Ashes means so much to me.
🤍🤍. Because I know what it feels like to sit in emotional ashes and wonder if things will ever get better.
And I also know what it feels like to slowly become whole again. 🤍

Truth: Avoidance keeps wounds open. 🩹. It’s often easier to stay silent than to face a difficult conversation, but avoiding the hard stuff doesn’t make the pain go away it just stays with us longer. This Mental Health Month, let’s choose the path of growth. Healing starts when we find the courage to speak our truth and process what we’ve been carrying. Even from the most difficult moments, something beautiful can emerge. Let’s journey together toward healing. 🤍🤍🤍 MentalHealthAwareness EmotionalWellness SelfCare EndTheStigma ButterflyEffect HealingIsPossible MayMentalHealthMonth

You can have faith… and still need people. There’s this quiet pressure to “just pray about it” and move on, but healing doesn’t happen in isolation. God designed us for connection for safe spaces, honest conversations, & people who can sit with us in the hard moments. Support is not a lack of faith. It’s part of God’s design for your healing. If you’ve been carrying things on your own, this is your reminder… you don’t have to. 🤍 Who is one safe person you can open up to this week?

it’s burnout.
It’s exhaustion.

You’re not “too sensitive.”
You just felt things deeply…
and weren’t taught how to process them.
🤍🤍🤍
Your emotions are not the problem. Unprocessed pain is.
