IMPORTANT SCHEDULE UPDATE FOR THIS SUNDAY:

After missing preseason due to the rain, we’re giving our Minors & Majors teams an extra 30 minutes this Sunday so they have some additional time to practice together before their first official games!

⏰ Sunday, September 20th:

🏈 Rookies (K–1): 9:00–10:00 AM
🏈 Minors (2nd–4th): 10:00–11:30 AM
🏈 Majors (5th-8th): 11:30 AM–1:00 PM

Rookies will remain at their normal time since their regular Sunday schedule already includes 30 minutes of instruction/practice before gameplay.

📌 These extended times are for this Sunday ONLY.

TUNNEL RUN UPDATE: Our tunnel run with fog & music is moving to Playoffs on November 1st! We think it’ll be an awesome way to make playoff weekend even more exciting for the kids!

🌧️ PRESEASON GAMES CANCELED 🏈

LYFFL Families — we’re so disappointed to share that today’s preseason games have been canceled due to the weather.

We were SO excited to get everyone back on the field and officially kick off our Fall 2026 season together, so this is definitely not the way we hoped to start! After closely monitoring the weather, we feel this is the best decision for our players, coaches and families.

📅 We’ll send a league-wide update by Wednesday with information regarding any schedule changes for next weekend. We’ll also share that update right here on Facebook and on our Instagram page.

📧 Be sure to keep an eye on your inbox for emails from your coaches, as some teams may choose to begin practices this week!

Thank you so much for your understanding and flexibility. We can’t wait to get everyone back on the field and get our Fall 2026 season underway!

We’re bringing the community together for a fun morning of football, family and giving back this Thanksgiving weekend!

🍂 Friday, November 27th
⏰ 9:00–11:00 AM
📍 Campbell High School – Inner Track Field

🏈 5v5 Flag Football Games
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Kids AND adults are welcome to play!
💵 $10 per person

❤️ 100% of proceeds will be donated to the Litchfield Food Pantry!

You do NOT need to be an LYFFL player or family to participate — the Turkey Bowl is open to EVERYONE! Whether you play in our league, live in the community or just want to get out on the field and have some fun, we’d love to have you!

PARENTS — DOES YOUR STUDENT NEED VOLUNTEER HOURS?

We’re looking for student referees to join us this Fall 2026 season! This is a great opportunity for students who need volunteer hours toward their sophomore or senior projects — while spending Sunday mornings out on the football field!

❤️ No prior refereeing experience is necessary — we’ll provide the training!

📅 Season: September 13th – November 8th
📍 Campbell High School
🏈 Minors: Sundays, 9:00–10:00 AM
🏈 Majors: Sundays, 11:00 AM–12:00 PM

We sent an email this afternoon to families whose teams are still in need of a coach for the Fall 2026 season. 🏈

If you received one, we’d be incredibly grateful if you would consider volunteering to coach your child’s team! No coaching experience is necessary — we’ll provide the support and information you need along the way.

Our league simply wouldn’t be possible without parents and family members willing to volunteer their time for our kids. ❤️

🏈 REGISTRATION IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED… AND WE BROKE A RECORD! 🎉🏈

We are SO excited to share that Fall 2026 is officially our biggest season yet! We broke our registration record, and we are absolutely thrilled to see so many kids joining us on the field this fall!

A huge THANK YOU to all of our returning families and to the many new families joining us this season. We can’t wait for another fun season filled with football, teamwork, new friendships, and lots of great memories! 🏈

⏳ Teams are loading… We’re working hard behind the scenes to build balanced teams and get everything ready for the season.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING SUNDAY MORNINGS THIS FALL? 🍂🏈

Come spend them with us!

Fall 2026 registration closes TOMORROW! If you’ve been thinking about signing up, now’s the time!

🏈 Co-ed • Grades K–8
📍 Campbell High School - Inner Track Field
📅 Sundays beginning September 13th
💲 $79 per player
🙌 All experience levels welcome!

Once registration closes, we’ll finalize divisions and teams. Team assignments, coaches and the full game schedule will be sent to families by September 2nd.

📣 We’re also still looking for volunteer coaches, especially for our 2nd–8th grade players! No coaching experience is needed—just a willingness to get involved and help make it a great season for the kids.
