What a week! The Andre Lacey Nike Golf Camp wrapped up in style with an exciting Drive, Chip & Putt Contest! We saw chip-ins from deep, 20 foot putts finding the bottom of the cup, and campers launching personal-best drives down the range.

But beyond the competition it was about fun, growth, and friendships. These kids didn’t just level up their game; they created memories that will last a lifetime.

Huge thanks to:
🔹 Wedges and Woods for being an incredible host facility
🔹 Coach Conan “Flip” Sanders for sharing his time and wisdom
🔹 My mom for lunch and popsicles (MVP status )
🔹 Coach Tierra and Coach J for their support in making everything run smooth

Not too long ago, I was an adaptive golfer. A car accident (several herniated disks, torn posterior labrum ligament, and pinched nerve) and still nursing my military injuries, brought my dreams of making it to the big leagues to a halt. It was heartbreaking being so close to the dream of being a tour professional only to have it slip away. But looking back, I realize God had a different plan for me.

Now, I’m exactly where I’m meant to be, giving back to my community and helping others fall in love with the game I cherish so much.

Life will knock you down sometimes, and it’s okay to be sad for that moment. But don’t stay there. Dust yourself off, rise like a phoenix, and become the best version of yourself!
