New Season…New Challenge 💪

We are preparing for a new season in the Craven Premier Divison and we’re excited to get going ⚽️

We’re starting training on the 1st July!

We’re keen to add more players… particularly those with a bit of experience, to our young squad for the next step in our journey! We have come up from Div 3 to the Prem over the past few seasons, with a squad that started out mostly as 16 year olds

If you’re wanting to play your football with us next season, we’d be more than willing to welcome you! We enjoy the social side of grassroots footy, along with giving it everything on a Saturday afternoon 💪

Final Game of the season.

The lads travel across the border tonight to play in our last game of the season.

Tonight's host being league champions Trawden, it will ne a tough test to finish the season. Having played them only a few weeks backs Hellifield will be looking to get revenge for the close encounter previously played.

A quick recap of last game.

Hellfield ran out 1-0 winners at home against Colne United FC.

The game was controlled in a professional manner by Hellifield, which saw the tangies dominate possession.

The only goal coming from Jacob Wroe who poached on another bouncing ball in the box to rap it home for Hellifield.

Great News ➡️Home Fixture

Tomorrow Night's fixture that was scheduled to be away has now been rearranged and is getting played at home. 💪💪

Hoping to carry on the winning streak in the league and finish the season off strong. A last home game win would be much deserved for the lads continuous hard work and resilience across the season.

It would be much appreciated if we can get as many fans down for our last home fixture of the season…cheering on the team as you all have throughout the season.

Grassington United Football Club vs Hellifield

Last Wednesday Saw the Tangies continue the winning form in the league managing to get a great clean sheet up in the Dales.

A very slow and steady game wasnt one for the audience. This test showed great resilience and team spirit to grind out a result. Both Goals either side of Half-time came from Cal Walton.

Some awesome saves made from big James in goals and a great headed goal line clearance from Centre-Back Harry, gave the tangies a deserved Clean sheet.

This Saturday Hellifield travelled over to Addingham to play a fixture that previously got cancelled earlier on this year.

What was to be a hot day got matched with a brilliant and outstanding performance from the team in Orange. Flying out of the box dominating duels and possession saw Hellifield go 1-0 up very earlier on with a great worked long through Headed in by Harry Richards.

Building off this Hellield showed the domination on and off the ball and later in the Half grab their 2nd off the game when Jacob Wroe looped headed found the back of the net.

HT 0-2

The Tangies knew they would have to keep this work going and stay strong if they wanted the 3 points on this hot sunny afternoon. Some great changes helped Hellifield continue to dominate and Substitute Tay McKillican pounced on a loose ball to tap home for hellifield.

Later on in the Half a well worked play down the right-hand side saw Tom Beresford thunderbolt his shot across goal into the top corner.

This confirmed the 3 points for Hellifield but also Helped clarify back to back clean sheets which is good to see.

Hellifield were able to get back to winning ways in the league at home to Keighley. A very strong home performance on wet evening. Goals coming from in-form Jacob Wroe and Taylor Mckillican adding to his goal tally for the season.
A big moment in the game Saw stand in goalkeeper/Manager Dale Denham save a penalty for the Tangies to keep the game at 3-1 when it looked like Keighley were growing into the game.
Great result for the team.

League cup QF. Vs Trawden

This game saw a very slow and disappointing start for Hellifield. After just 25 minutes Hellifield found themselves 3-0 down. This really effected the game and made Hellifield have to fight really hard to gain anything out of this match.
Though the score was 3-0 the Tangies started to build some possession and look to trouble the Trawden defence but were unable to score a key goal before Half time.

Early into the 2nd half Hellifield went 4-0 down, this looked to be the end of the game. But true fight and spirit saw Hellifield score 2 in 5 minutes bring the tie back to 4-2 in favour off the away side. Unfortunately moments later Cal walton saw a respectfully onside goal disallowed and hinded the comebcak for the tangies.
Throwing bodies forward in search for the goals saw Hellifield get caught out on the counter. And this goal did kill the tie.

Today's Game see's the Tangies travel over to Addingham in our last Saturday game off the season.

With a good midweek result up at grassington, Hellifield will be looking to build of this with another away win.

Game Tonight

Hellifield vs Grassington United Football Club reserves

The nightly games continue for the Tangies as they look to finish the season strong with a last push to finish up and around the top end of the table.

This will be great game as Grassington have showed over the years and great tie with result going either away in the past.

Hopefully many can travel up to grassington and support the lads
