FALL UPDATES AT KIM MCDOWELL, RMT
There’s a lot happening behind the scenes this fall, so here’s a quick update on what’s changing.
I’m currently working on moving my treatment space into the basement. Going forward, clients will use the back door, with access involving the back steps and basement staircase. It’s a change, but you’ll still get the same great service in a new space.
I’m also adding Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) to my services. It’s a gentle treatment that supports healing, helps reduce swelling, and promotes overall wellness. I’m completing my training now and expect to begin offering MLD November 3rd.
There will also be a few pricing changes this fall. Most treatments will remain the same, with increases to the 60- and 75-minute massages, as well as the 90-minute Indie Head Massage and 90-minute Indie Head + Warm Thai Stem Facial.
Current pricing, including HST:
30 min — $70
45 min — $90
60 min — $117
75 min — $145
90 min — $165
60 min Indie Head — $117
90 min Indie Head + Thai Stem Facial — $170
I’m currently not accepting new clients while I complete my MLD training and focus on my existing client schedule. I’ll reassess new-client availability November 1st and update this page then.
My fall schedule will be:
Tuesday + Wednesday: 9 AM–6 PM
Friday: 9 AM–2:30 PM
Saturday availability is currently limited to October 3rd, November 7th, and December 12th.
And finally, if your benefits reset January 1st, start using them now. Please don’t wait until December to try to squeeze a year of massages into a few weeks. Evening appointments especially tend to book out, and many of my clients are already booked through the end of the year. If you need after-work appointments, I recommend booking 2–3 visits ahead.
A new space, a new modality, a few updates, and lots of exciting things ahead.
