For those who would love to try kayaking but are nervous or would benefit from a little extra stability - we have a brand new solution!

The amazing Matt and Kenny from Digby Area Recreation Commission installed outriggers on two of our kayaks!

Think of them as 'training wheels' for the kayaks that add more stability and buoyancy.

Who's ready to come take these bad boys out for a spin?? 🛶

We had a special guest on the lake this week.

Wildlife Explorer Olivia from... somewhere (I cant identify that accent...🤔) was out on Haines Lake watching for elusive paddlers.

It's raining!! Beautiful, much needed rain. ⛈️☂️⛈️.

Thanks for everyone who came to play earlier today, but we're locking things up a bit early now.

Perhaps we'll get some sunshine again tomorrow.

We're here 1 to 7pm Friday, then 10am to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday.

2026 Lost and Found

Looking for a fun way to spend a summer evening? Join us for a guided paddle at the Digby Outdoor Recreation Centre!

Whether you're brand new to paddling or have experience on the water, everyone is welcome. We'll provide the equipment, you just bring your sense of adventure!
