It’s Beginning to look a lot like Christmas! 🎶

Lights are shining, decorations are up and I’m in the holiday spirit. From a sparkling tree to festive touches all over my home I’m ready to welcome Joy, laughter and plenty of Christmas cheer.

My home is proof that Christmas is magical and real. But let’s not forget the real reason for the season and that is the celebration of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Happy Holidays everyone, May this season bring you happiness, health and special moments with the ones you love.

Even when you’re rumbling about drills missed serves or us being late, We know it comes from a place of love, passion and dedication.

Thank you Coach for pushing us, believing in us and always showing up even if it’s with the worlds grumpiest face we wouldn’t trade you for any other Coach in the world.

Coach Javi’s Specialty Chicken Plate:

For years this has been one of my favorite food spots and as a loyal customer I haven’t missed a week. Rain or Shine I’ll always show up with a smile and order the same dish.

It is surprising to me that they would name a dish after myself and my loyalty and added it to their menu. This is a dish I would ask for specifically and they always make it to my satisfaction.

When I first heard of this I couldn’t help but smile but deep down I was honored. This isn’t just a dish with a name on it it’s a symbol of gratitude from a place that cares and values their customers.

Thank you Loredo’s Tortillería in Edinburg for your delicious food and most of your excellent service. I recommend anyone in the area to go pay them a visit.

🙏 Throwback Thursday 🙏

I’ve always believed in Saint Jude and its prayer, For help and in desperate situations it invokes him as the “apostle of the impossible” and asks for this intercession to God for strength, hope and guidance in trials.

A basic structure involves asking Saint Jude to help you through your struggles and requesting specific assistance in a particular need, such as a health issue or financial difficulty.

Life has tested me many times through loss and hardship and through those times I have always turned to Saint Jude The Patron of Saint of Lost Causes.

I pray not for riches or glory but for strength and hope and with my Saint I’m never alone. Over and over my prayers have been answered in miraculous ways, the ability to continue to coach, a job found just in time and peace that settles over me.

Each year as October comes to an end I honor Saint Jude by dressing as this beautiful Saint not for attention but as a symbol of faith and gratitude.

When I wear the green robe, the gold medallion and staff in hand it sets a reminder of my faith when worn it can light the darkest path.

I hope everyone had a wonderful October and I hope and pray everyone has a Saint they look up to. May you all have a blessed day. 🙏🙏🙏

To continue the celebration for National Coach’s day The Lady Bears took it to the court with one goal in mind—to make me proud.

Every serve, spike and dive was fueled by the lessons I have taught them. Today they played with heart, never gave up and more than anything trusted in each other as a team.

These Athletes dominated the game tonight in just twenty simple minutes. This win wasn’t just another mark to their season it was a winning tribute.

This game was dedicated to me for my time, patience and for always believing in them on and off the court.

When you train with myself Coach Javi, one thing you will learn is that we never deny the opportunity to develop and continue to learn.

This was more than a game, to The Lady Bears it was their way of showing their appreciation for coaching, leading and guiding them to victory.

Thank you to all my athletes for their trust, dedication and determination. I will see you all on the next serve.

Some of my athletes wanted to thank me for everything I do for them. They are so thankful for my time, dedication and the patience I have had in coaching them.

Even though not all could be present they shared their appreciation through text and calls. Thank you athletes for allowing me to push you to be better on and off the court.

I appreciate the thought of you all wanting to celebrate me for National Coach’s Day. We celebrate a day late but the thought of being celebrated means the world to me.

Becoming a great athlete doesn’t happen overnight—it happens one practice at a time. Every practice these young athletes show up, ready to work and have been very consistent which sets them apart.

With each serve, pass and spike they get sharper, stronger and more confident in themselves. What felt difficult to them in the beginning now comes natural and their Team work grows closer with every drill.

By simply showing up and giving it their best effort, they’re turning into a great group of athletes and it’s more than they ever imagined.

Becoming a great Volleyball Coach doesn’t come overnight: 🏐🏐🏐🏐

For 33 years for me it’s been more than just knowing the game it’s been about leading, teaching and inspiring the future of this sport.

I want to help these athletes to learn the game in and out, love the sport, have a passion for it, play with dedication and be determined to grow big in this sport.

I myself am determined to help mold our future into great athletes, and teach them to be amazing human beings on and off the court.

Parents I invite you to enroll your child in our training and I guarantee a great outcome to my coaching and trainings.

We have Pre Registration tomorrow Thursday at 6:00 pm at The Fundamentals Gym followed by training from 6:30pm to 7:45pm
