Such a good feeling being able to provide my girls with fresh, nutritious food straight from the ocean—just as my father did for us when we were kids. 🙏🏽

Over the last session (and many before it), I released plenty of fish. But when a tusky goes 40 cm+ well it is definitely coming home for the table this one fed me & my girls well. 🍽️🐟

Grateful to this land and its people for allowing us to live such a healthy, grounded lifestyle.

Not what I was expecting but an awesome by catch for the morning

A couple of fish from my first morning off Whisper Bay, only about 1 km from the boat ramp — Airlie never disappoints 🎣

All taken on the shallow headland reefs, with plenty of action from GTs, queenfish, coral trout, sweetlip, tusky, giant herring, stripeys, and even one species I’ve never caught before.

Got busted off a few times by some bigger fish, but that’s fishing. Gearing up again and heading for Grimstone Point tomorrow morning — keen for the next adventure 💯🔥

There were many more fish caught but managed to get a few pics 🤙
