Known as โ€œThe Landslide,โ€ Eduard Folayang is one of the pioneers of Filipino mixed martial arts and a former ONE Lightweight World Champion. He made his name representing Team Lakay, where he built his reputation with his explosive wushu-based striking, relentless pace, and warrior mentality inside the cage. Now, he continues his journey under Lions Nation MMA.

His unforgettable battles against top contenders, especially his title-winning performance against Shinya Aoki in 2016, showed the world the heart and skill of Filipino fighters.

But more than the wins and titles, it was his grit, discipline, and never-back-down attitude that made me a fan. Watching him represent the Philippines on the global stage made me appreciate MMA on a deeper level.

โ€œThe Thunder Kidโ€ rocked Saputra with a clean right before swarming him with strikes, forcing referee Olivier Coste to step in.
