☀️ Does anyone else miss the sunshine as much as we do?

This video was taken just a few weeks ago when we were lucky enough to be dancing outdoors with the stunning Ayrshire coastline as our backdrop. The fresh air, the sea views, the music and the laughter... honestly, there aren't many better ways to spend an evening.

Don't get me wrong, we're grateful to have fantastic indoor venues when the Scottish weather does what it does best 😆, but we'd love to get back to our Rhythm 'n' Boots alfresco sessions before the summer disappears on us!

So let's all send positive thoughts to the weather gods and hope the sunshine makes a return very soon. ☀️🤠

In the meantime, classes continue as normal this week:

⭐ Tuesday – Muirhead Activity Centre, Troon – 6.30pm

⭐ Wednesday

☀️ A little heads-up that I will be on holiday from 29th June until 8th July, so there will be no classes during that period. Apologies for the short break, but we will return on Thursday 9th July and look forward to seeing you all back on the dance floor.

🤠 Good Morning, Everyone! 🤠

I hope you're all having a lovely weekend. I'm sure some of you are already missing the dancing, the friendships, the laughter and the fun... and desperate to get back on the dance floor!

I know I've missed you all and can't wait to step it out with you tonight at my favourite venue — Belmont Academy Assembly Hall. 💃🕺

Who's joining us?

⭐ 6pm–7pm – Absolute Beginners
⭐ 7pm–8pm – Beginners
⭐ 8pm–9pm – Improver/Intermediate

If you're brand new, pop along at 6pm and stay for as long as you like. More experienced dancers, why not join us for the easier classics too? They're still great fun, and you might just surprise yourself by staying on for the full night!

The more dancing you do, the greater the benefits for your mind, body and overall wellbeing. Better fitness, improved balance, sharper memory, increased confidence and wonderful friendships — the benefits of line dancing really are endless.

🤠 MEET THE BOOTS 'N' BEATS TEAM 🤠

You may have seen us recently at the fantastic Auchincruive Hoedown, but for those who don't know us yet, we're David and Mairi – the duo behind Boots 'n' Beats!

David is a singer, DJ, radio presenter and experienced event host who knows exactly how to keep a crowd entertained. As well as performing at events across Scotland, he hosts the Country Show on Now Ayrshire Radio every Sunday evening, sharing his passion for country music with listeners across Ayrshire and beyond.

Many of you will already know Mairi from Rhythm 'n' Boots, where she teaches line dancing classes across Ayrshire. With a lifelong background in dance and a love of bringing people together, she's there to get everyone up on the dance floor and having fun – whether you've danced before or not!

Together we've teamed up to create Boots 'n' Beats – bringing you fantastic country music events packed with great entertainment, brilliant live acts, dancing, laughter and plenty of memorable moments.

And one thing is for sure... if there's a dance floor, we'll make sure it's full!

We're so excited for what's ahead and can't wait to welcome you to our next event at Ayr Town Hall on Saturday 18th July.

Just a wee reminder that tonight's Rhythm 'n' Boots classes are at Ayr Academy Gym Hall.

🕡 6.30pm – 7.30pm Absolute Beginners
🕢 7.40pm – 8.40pm Beginners

📍 Please use the double doors on the right-hand side as you enter the car park. Don't head to the main entrance as it will be locked.

Good news... from next week onwards we WILL be back in the Assembly Hall at Belmont Academy. 🎉

Sorry for the venue change again. I like to keep you all on your toes... literally! 😆👢💃
