Gio and I would like to thank all those that have supported our series since its inception. We have mutually agreed to cease operation at OLDR effective immediately. Life and a lack of time, among other things have led us to this difficult decision. This decision will allow Gio to continue building the great tracks that he does under the Gio Speed Designs (GSD) label. And it will allow me to focus more on racing, instead of the day to day operations of OLDR. This was not an easy decision for either one of us, but since we ended our last season and had some spare time Gio has been able to get started on a new track and I've managed to run some races I otherwise wouldn't have had time for. Special thanks goes out to the guys at OHM for the great Big Block modified we started our series with, and the guys at Sim Pro Racing for the superb midget they designed which has produced some really great racing. We would also like to thank all the track makers for the great tracks we've had access to for our series. Stay tuned to the GSD page for new track updates from Gio. I myself will continue to be where ever the dirt is flying, working on W's ...........
Peace out.........
Herb

2013 Season 2 Wrap Up
Weaver Repeats as OLDR / POWRi Midget Champion
Zach Weaver continued his season long consistency again
this season en route to his 2nd straight season championship.
Weaver would stand on top of the points at season end without winning an A main, but did it with strong qualifying points, heat wins, and solid finishes in the A mains. Herb Engelhart would once again play runner up to Weaver this season, by 27 points after coming up a mere 6 points short in the previous season. Dale Grotherr would finish 3rd as he did the previous season
as well. The season ran 12 races and saw 87 different drivers earn points.
The series saw 10 different A-Main winners as follows:
Gio Mungin 2
Jordin Mitchell 2
Herb Engelhart 1
Chase Briscoe 1
Grady Chandler 1
Christopher Bell 1
TJ Hartman 1
Kevin Swindell 1
Chase Cabre 1
Cody Trammell 1

The top 10 in points:
Zach Weaver 736
Herb Engelhart 709
Dale Grotherr 632
Rudy Kuhl 617
Chase Briscoe 553
Adam Gowitzka 535
Gio Mungin 501
Ren Johnson 462
Nathen Wetherbee 442
Justin Thomas 429

The series will take a short break now while the outdoor
racing season continues to be in full swing. There’s still
plenty of good online midget racing still going on with
Sim Pro Racing running on Sundays & special events.
TruSpeed Motorsports midget series is running on Mondays.
And the AMRA midget series is running on Tuesday’s.
OLDR would like to thank all the racers who participated in
this past season, and a special thanks to the other league admins that helped along the way. We saw 2 new tracks created by Gio Mungin
@ GioSpeed Designs, that produced great racing. Hoping to see more GSD creations in the future. Stay tuned for details on the upcoming season.
