What a day, assembled the original gravity enforcers, plus a few, and put the hammer down on the oldsqwa in Ct, in the pouring rain! Got some wall hangers!

It has been a busy few weeks of not being able to hunt, but we got out yesterday, and it was nothing short of amazing. Found bull elk and lots of cow elk, and finally sealed the deal on my first elk! -Ian

Well went hard on the waterfowl this weekend. Saturday was a blast, sunday was a grind. But, new hunters shot birds they never had before, and i made a few new waterfowling friends!

Well, yesterday was one hell of a day. Went out for Derek Watson's deer, saw 150 deer and passed 3 bucks before the sun was up. Took a good 8 mile hike, 2000 feet of elevation change or so. Ended up finding some awesome country but no deer. So we head out around one, and plan A hit a dead end, so we went exploring, and in the last hour of light, found another 150 deer. With ten minutes left of legal light, im glassing deer and Derek yells, shoot that one! And with some chaos inbetween, the deer hit the ground with a 350 yard shot! My first mature buck. A fighter, with torn ears and a hole in his throat from a earlier fight! The 3 and a half hour drive back was long, but incredible. Thanks go out to Derek Watson for the help!

So its been a rough week for several of us. There has been alot of truck issues.
But!
We made it up the mountain on sunday, got a late start, fog so thick you couldnt see, and hikin out in the snow. But we hiked in, and ended up 50 yards from a herd of elk, and Derek Watson filled his bull elk tag! It took us 2 hours to hike in, and 5 to hike out the beast in one trip with the four of us. It was a good work out! With Dustin Griffin and tucker whitt.
