Skituonela aka Ski Tuonela Ski Resort/Wilderness Resort We have approx 25km of groomed cross country trails and a gladed Telemark Hill which runs through a spaced maple and birch forest..

SkiTuonela is a wilderness ski resort located at the foot of the Cape Breton Highlands 4kms from the road in the heart of a Boreal Forest. The Village consisting of nine chalets sits at the foot of the Telemark Hill. We are open from New Year's to Easter for skiing and Labour Day thru Oct 31 for hiking and biking etc.

The families of Joachim Stroink and Rob Faloon from Halifax along with Mango, their 'therapy' pooch, had a great time this weekend (Feb 20), skiing and using the Tanzhaus for more competition.
