That’s a wrap on the 25/26 season, what a season it’s been.

League champions with only loosing one game in the league campaign. The lads have been sensational this year, with the league trophy to show for their tremendous efforts & hard work.
It wasn’t a straight forward season, with some games really testing their resilience, having to come back from behind & then some games we were cruising, they didn’t get complacent and kept the standards high.

As a coaching team, Callum & Asad have said “we couldn’t be any prouder of this special group of players. They deserved a trophy this year, as for years they’ve worked tirelessly to improve their game, been resilient when results have gone against them & now become a formidable team”.

The stats for this year are impressive. 24 games, scoring 101, conceding 31 & keeping 5 clean sheets. March was outstanding, not conceding a goal all month & scoring 14 goals in 3 games.

As ever, the lads couldn’t have it without the support from everyone who’s been down to support at our games. Thank you to everyone who’s attended a home game or travelled away with us ❤️🖤

We’re now into a bit of downtime, with a few tournaments coming up, presentations & a trip away together. Preparations begin for next season, but for now time to reclaim Sunday mornings in bed 😂😂

Match-day, final game of the season.

An absolute incredible season for the lads, absolutely smashing expectations out of the park. Let’s get this match played, celebrate & enjoy a few weekends off, before the tournaments start ❤️🖤

Yesterday was the start of a new team activity at training, the alphabet items challenge.

I’d say it’s a strong start with the letter A, only one player forgetting their item as well👏🏻

SAJFC U13’s Reds vs SAJFC U13’s Whites

Sundays game saw the second instalment of the InterStan derby, this season, Reds vs Whites!

A beautiful morning set the picture for a fantastic game of football. One problem, Callum may of forgot to ask about the kits, meaning we had to play with our t-shirts inside out 🫣😂🤦🏼

The reds broke the deadlock in the seventeenth minute, catching us sleeping from their throw-in.

We knew we had to show an immediate response & we did just that. Two minutes later, we grabbed an equaliser.
Ayan worked hard in the middle to create space, threaded a perfect through ball the defence, Kleyton then picked up the ball and calmly slotted it past the keeper.
We grabbed a second with two minutes left of the first half. Rory stepping over a free kick, 35yrds out, does what he does best and unleashes a weighted shot over the keeper.
HT: 1-2

We couldn’t ask for a better start, scoring after 22 seconds.
Ali lifting a ball over the defence for Kleyton, who latches onto the ball and lofts it over the keeper precisely.

The reds would look to fight back but Toby was on fire again. Backed up by his defence, all 5 of them stood tall and denied any attacks, exceptionally.

Forty-seventh minute we would get our 4th. Ali winning the penalty, stepped up to take it. He dispatched his penalty brilliantly past the goalkeeper, giving us a three goal lead.

The game would be put to bed on the sixty fifth minute. We got our fifth goal through Ayan who got onto a through ball from Ali, finishing over the keeper into the top corner.

Within the last five minutes, we managed to secure two more goals.
Both coming from Kleyton, picking up his hat-trick & a fourth.
The first of the two came from an excellent pass from Zak, finding Kleyton on the shoulder of the defender. He then shrugged him off, burying his shot under the keeper.
His second coming from a perfect switched pass from Rory, through facing the keeper 1v1 and finishing around him in style.
FT: 1-7

The lads performed admirably, coming from behind and then putting on the performance they did, shows why they are the league champions. All 13 of them giving 100%, all the time & becoming a formidable unit throughout the season.

POTM 🏆 Toby: Toby’s first full season in net & he’s becoming more & more confident with each match. This game showed it, coming out & sweeping + claiming anything that came his way. Keep smashing it, Toby 👏🏻👏🏻
