What I’m working on personally right now.

Even as a nutritionist, I’m still working on my habits too.

Midlife has a way of reminding you that
health isn’t something you “finish.”
It’s something you keep practicing.

Right now I’m focusing on a few simple things:
• slowing my mornings down
• protecting my energy during the day
• not rushing through meals
• creating more recovery in my week

Not because things are falling apart…
but because midlife works better when you listen to your body.

Less pushing.
More awareness.
Small adjustments make a big difference over time.

Raising daughters changes how you see the world.

You start thinking about the kind of world they’re stepping into…
and the kind of women they’re becoming.

Strong.
Curious.
Independent.
Unapologetically themselves.

This photo from Spain reminds me how powerful it is to raise girls who are willing to explore, ask questions, take risks, and carve their own path.

As a mom, my greatest hope isn’t that they follow the rules.

It’s that they trust their voice.

Happy International Women’s Day to the women raising strong girls — and to the next generation of women who will change the world.

There was a moment after my back injury when I questioned everything.

Every workout felt like a risk.
Every movement came with a little voice in my head saying
“What if you make it worse?”

For someone who has always loved movement, strength, and feeling capable in my body… that fear was hard.

So I slowed down.

I focused on the basics.
Good form.
Listening to my body.
Patience (a lot of patience).

No rushing.
No ego lifts.
Just rebuilding.

Some days it felt frustratingly slow.
But little by little, strength started coming back.

And something else happened too…
confidence.

Not the old confidence of pushing hard,
but a deeper one.

The kind that comes from respecting your body and rebuilding it the right way.

Today I’m not chasing “perfect workouts.”
I’m focused on something better.

Getting stronger every day.

If you’re in a season where your body feels different from injury, midlife changes, hormones, recovery - just know that progress doesn’t have to be fast to be meaningful.

Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is start again.

Where I live is beautiful because…

I am blessed to live in a place where I have so many options to get outside for some Nature Therapy. I get to experience all four seasons. From paddleboarding in the summer to winter hikes!

Starting my day with a view of a beautiful sunrise (on the water in the summer) and a daily walk grounds me and helps me set the tone for my day which helps me to stay on track with all the other things that keep my anxiety low and my productivity high.

As a Nutritionist and as someone who loves the outdoors I see and feel the benefits of time outside.

👉🏼it’s about getting OUTSIDE - feeling feet on the earth or floating on the water. Taking it all in and deep breaths to let go of the heavy.

👉🏼it’s about MOVING in an intuitive way - stretching, strengthening, relaxing and playing on the grass, the sand or on the water.

👉🏼it’s about CELEBRATING the moment. 🌅
And enjoying all that YOU CAN DO!

Are you ready for Fall?

It’s been an interesting and busy time. I have been so occupied with the summer and helping my girls out that it really snuck up on me. I feel like I went from being in overdrive this summer to what just happened?
We dropped the kids off at their schools this weekend & then came home to a very quiet house.

It seems that many of my friends still have kids at home. So I figured I would share a little about my experience.
