Calder Valley Winter Score Event

Sorry... I won't be able to put on the Calder Valley Winter Score Event this January after all.

I've been ill all Christmas period and still not well. I have the event roughly planned out on paper but it always needs three full days out reccying the control locations and routes, plus a day or two putting the controls out and I just won't be able to do that.

Maybe later in the year, though the calendar is always busy so not sure whether that will be possible.

I'm planning on Sunday 14th Jan for this year's Calder Valley Winter Score event.
It will be from our house in Mytholmroyd as usual, with food and drink afterwards.
No need to enter yet, I'll need to get round to working out details.

So I have a month to plan 😁

There are 16 controls on this year's score event.
If you cover a distance of just 8 miles in the three hours it can get you to six controls and a respectable score.
Yet it is probably (?) just out of reach for anyone to clear all 16.
