Another pre-season friendly tonight Warriors Blue took on Warriors Red!

What a game! From the first whistle to the last, it was competitive & fast-paced with both teams giving it everything. 💪

The game could have gone either way, with chances at both ends, but in the end it finished Draw with a low score line of 1-1

A fantastic test for both teams just before the season starts.

Warriors 🔵 VS Warriors 🟢

Today we played our very good friends, the Green Army! What should have been a friendly game quickly turned into more of a training game due to low numbers.

We mixed up both teams and still had enough players for a 7v7 game, plus a magic man!

There were lots of goals scored throughout the game and, most importantly, lots of valuable minutes played by everyone. Exactly what we need just before the season starts, getting the boys match-ready and prepared for what’s ahead! 💪💙

A big thank you to the Green Army for a great game and for helping make sure the boys got plenty of football in! 👏

Warriors U11 vs Sandall Beat Wood

It was great to see the lads dominating possession of the football and, more importantly, having to make lots of decisions along the way. Keeping the ball and playing under pressure is something we’ve been working hard on, so it was brilliant to see them putting it into practice!

The opposition also made us work hard, which is exactly what we want at this stage. A competitive game not only tests the boys technically but also helps build their fitness ahead of the season. 💪

We also had plenty of boys playing in different positions tonight, challenging them in different ways and helping them develop their understanding of the game as a whole.

What a fantastic performance tonight, Every single player put an absolute shift in and worked their socks off for the team.

The way the boys kept possession and moved the ball around was something far beyond their years, showing real confidence, composure and maturity on the pitch. The effort, teamwork and attitude from them all was brilliant to see.

huge thank you to Oliver Beaglehole from Beags Football Coaching for taking time out of his day to come and put the boys through their paces!

The session was brilliant and covered a variety of really important areas of the game, including keeping possession, pressing, playing forward and, most importantly, decision-making. The boys were constantly challenged to think about their next move, make quick decisions and put what they were learning into practice.

It was a fast-paced, high energy session that really kept the lads on their toes, and you could see how engaged they were throughout. They’ve taken so much away from the session, and it was fantastic to see them being pushed outside of their comfort zones while still enjoying every minute!

Oli was brilliant with the boys and delivered the session in a way that was both challenging and enjoyable. It’s clear to see the passion, knowledge and energy he brings to his coaching, and we’re really grateful that he gave up his time to work with our lads.

A massive thank you once again, Oli! We’d definitely recommend Beags Football Coaching to anyone looking for high quality football coaching.

Great run out for the lads yeaterday! What a privileged position we’re in to be able to rotate the boys into all sorts of different positions and still compete in such a close, competitive match against a team a year above! 💪

With only 9 players available, and this being just our second game back after a month-long break, the boys put in one hell of a performance. They dominated large periods of the game and, on another day, if we take our chances, we could have run away as clear winners!

In the end, the opposition just got the better of us, but there are so many positives to take from today. The effort, attitude and performance from every single one of the lads was brilliant 👏

Excited to see where these boys are by the start of the season… the future is looking bright! 💙⚽

First game back! ⚽️💙

After a four-week break, it was great to finally get the lads back at it!

The boys were understandably a little tired and rusty, but that’s exactly what pre-season games are all about! Getting the minutes in, finding our rhythm again and working our way back to our best. 💪

A massive well done to all the lads who gave it their all today, and congratulations to our trophy winners! 🏆👏

⚽️ THE BLUES — END OF SEASON PRESENTATION 🏆💙

Over the weekend, the Blues finally had their end-of-season presentation, and what a day it was! 🥳⚽️

We just want to start by saying a massive well done to every single boy in the team for an amazing season. 👏🏼

The boys train twice a week, with games twice a week & most of them also doing extra training outside of those 4 sessions. They play their own age group on a Saturday and, for another year, have also played a year above on a Sunday. playing on a bigger pitch, a new format and with more rules, including the offside rule.

Every single lad has taken it all in their stride. They’ve turned up week in, week out, committed themselves to training and games, and given it their all every single weekend.

We’ve had some losses, we’ve had some fantastic wins, but that’s what grassroots football is all about.

I honestly don’t think there’s a team out there more committed to their football than this one. The dedication, effort and love they have for the game is something to be incredibly proud of. 💙⚽️

A massive thank you to all the parents, because with a bunch of committed footballers comes a bunch of very committed parents! 😂👏🏼

We’ve driven miles and miles to games, stood on the sidelines in all kinds of weather 🌧️☀️💨, rearranged weekends and made countless sacrifices. But seeing our kids doing what they love,
makes every single mile and every cold morning worth it.

And none of this would happen without our amazing coaches.

A huge thank you to Coach Elliott and Coach Steve, who give up their spare time four days a week for these boys. ⚽️👏🏼

Some people might think that’s a lot… and they’d be right! 😂 But as a team, we honestly wouldn’t change it. The time, effort and commitment you both put into these boys is incredible, and we are so grateful for everything you do.

This season has created some massive memories, but without a doubt, the biggest one has to be the whole team playing international football in Holland. 🇳🇱⚽️

What a weekend that was! Something the boys will remember for years to come, and no doubt something that will be talked about for many years too. 💙
