Chalfont St Giles Bowls Club A friendly club for those in the Chalfont St Giles area interested in playing bowls. No experience needed. The 2025 season has started.

We usually have a good turnout for our Friday rollups, 17.00 for 17.30. Qualified coaches on hand for beginners.

Nearly there. The 2026 season that is. The spring pre-season meeting will be on 28th March. Club cleaning day will be on 11th April. Details in the email sent to members. The first roll up will be on 25th April, 17.00 for 17.30. Follow us on Facebook and on our web site for other events.

Diary dates for members. Pre-season meeting 29th March 10.00 for 10.30. Club clean up day 5th April. You can sign up for this at the pre-season meeting.

Short mat bowls in the Memorial Hall, School Lane, from October to March. Games start at 19.00, not the previously posted 19.30. Oops!

So that's it then.. All done and dusted, for outdoor bowls anyway, until a date yet to be fixed in April 2025. Short mat bowls is available on a Friday evening in the Memorial Hall, School Lane, Chalfont St Giles.

Almost there, sadly. The end of the season. The final roll up in 2024 will be on Friday 27th September, starting at 17.00.

Another great finals weekend, with brilliant weather. Well done to all the winners. Another couple of weeks and that's it until 2025 when outdoor bowls start all over again.

Many thanks to all those members of the club who organised the grand afternoon of racing on Sunday. A pity the weather was so lousy but a fun time was had by all, and no horses were injured.
