Last night, we attended the Seaside Chevrolet Southeast Challenge Series Banquet, where we received our 5th place trophy following a season marked by strong efforts, challenges and heartbreak. 🤕

To our surprise, we were also awarded the most sportsmanlike driver award and the hard luck award, as voted by the drivers and crew. 🏆

For a team that did not receive a single trophy throughout the season, these awards hold significant value. We consistently strive to demonstrate respect both on and off the track and are always willing to lend a hand or parts to others when needed. It is gratifying to know that others share this same respect for us. 🫶💪🏼

We are proud of the series' accomplishments in its inaugural season and eagerly anticipate what 2026 holds. 🏁

LATE POST:

We battled with a loose car all day at this year’s Atlantic Championships at the Shediac CENTRE for Speed. 🏁

Car got better throughout the day and managed to finish 2nd in the heat race.🥈

They inverted the heat finishing orders to start the first 50-lap feature, putting us in 13th to start, and we managed to work our way up to the front, avoiding multiple wrecks along the way. We made it to 1st place and managed to lead about 10-15 laps before car faded off and finished in 3rd. 🥉

They inverted the field again, putting us at the rear again to start the final 50-lap feature. We worked the traffic again but by the time, we made it through, we had nothing left, just couldn’t keep up with the front runners on our old tires. 😮‍💨

On a late restart, car in front of us vapour locked and we got in the back of him, it pushed the bumper in far enough that it broke the transmission lines at the cooler. We had transmission fluid flying all over our tires for the last 10 laps of the race but still managed to hang on for a 4th place finish. Once again, one spot short of a podium finish. 🫠

With Speedway Miramichi cancelling the Street Stock 100, that will end our 2025 season. ✅

It was a tough one, we never could shake off the bad luck all year, no trophies or podiums to show for and blowing up a brand new motor along the way. 😞

We will be busy in the offseason and hopefully we used up all of the bad luck and we will have a successful 2026 season. 🏁
