For real, for reals, life has been happening behind the scenes for me.

I recently moved to Oceanside, CA, after staying with family friends in South Orange County . While this is where I want to be there was an adjustment period that I felt almost out of control of.

Things that I desired were showing up either faster or slower than I intended and with every new thing came a moment of pressure, processing and pivot.

This weekend was no different. I wanted to pivot from focusing on my life to focusing on my publishing clients.

At I have 3 authors I’m doing the full publishing process for, 2 authors who I’m collaborating on book projects with, and 1 author who is testing a new service with me. My plate is pretty full. So I set out time this weekend to complete as much work as possible without neglecting the time I spend on myself and with my man.

Today while I was wrapping up a project, my boyfriend who was playing video games near by heard me let out a deep sigh.

“You’re just trying to help people,” he responded, stopping me in my tracks.

Yea, he’s right and it’s that simple.

At I’m helping people make their book publishing dreams come true.

For some reason that really hit me. So much so I had to pin it here to remind myself. I’m helping people, even when I’m in my feelings about something, I’m helping others. So I relaxed, shook off the pressure and got back to it.

Another desire of mine is to be back on social media. I love creating and have created a lot new things that I have yet to speak up about so stay tuned.

I’m looking for someone to share my office in Downtown Oceanside, CA with me. Rent would be $380/month. Month to month basis. It comes with a desk and chair. I’m in and out throughout the day/ week so you’d have a quiet setting near the beach/ downtown Oceanside.

Really been thanking God for my ups and my downs. It could be better, yes, but it could be worse too. My heart is grateful for it all.

Honestly… the beach has become medicine for my mental, spiritual, physical, and emotional health.

Today was a proud moment. I quick-walked a little over 4 miles along the Oceanside strand in just over an hour (and yes, in shorts 😄).

First time doing the full stretch since moving into my office nearby.

Not gonna lie… I see how this could become my new addiction.

turned 8 years old yesterday and I couldn’t be more happy and proud of myself.

Persistence is a strength (and sometimes a weakness) for how I’ve kept on going.

I decided in 2018 that if I was going to start a business that I would commit to it for at least 30 years. After 30 years most people retire and downsize. My vision for 30th anniversary doesn’t look like that at all. Therefore it requires me to keep going and keep growing. So I do.
