๐ ๐๐ง๐๐ ๐ฅ๐๐ฃ๐ข๐ฅ๐ง | A disappointing afternoon as the lads fall to defeat against Clayton Albion.
A fairly even first half saw chances at both ends, with Athletic having opportunities to take the lead but unable to make them count.
Unfortunately, the levels dropped after the break. Athletic continued to create chances but couldnโt find the finish, while at the other end Clayton were much more clinical when their opportunities came.
Twice the visitors found themselves through one-on-one with our keeper and twice they punished us, giving Clayton a 2โ0 lead that we couldnโt find a way back from.
A frustrating result on a day where missed chances at one end and mistakes at the other ultimately proved costly.
Plenty to work on and improve as we move onto the next one.
