Usually, I'm not personally in this space, which is why the quality of this post is so much worse than other ones - generally created by our Marketing Manager (plus so much more) Erin McGufficke. I (Andreas, run director), wanted to use this opportunity to thank Erin for her amazing work and dedication - helping to make the event today a success despite an emergency in the family 🤗 Thank you so much and I hope you'll all get some good rest and sleep tonight!

Apologies also that we haven't posted any results yet. Some of you might have noticed that we had a little hick-up with the timing system this morning. I promise I'm working on getting these out as soon as possible.

🚗 PARKING UPDATE FOR RUNHER TOMORROW 🚗

Parking at Lake Manchester is limited, so if you’re able to, please consider carpooling with friends or fellow runners!

Use the comments/chat here (or on Instagram) to help organise lifts and share rides 💫

📍 Parking will be located in the Lake Manchester Day Use Area.

We’ll have parking marshals on-site bright and early helping pack everyone in like sardines 🐟😂 so please follow their directions when arriving.

Arriving early and carpooling where possible will make things much smoother for everyone and help keep the morning stress-free.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out this morning to make the inaugural runher event so much fun!

We were so happy to see a lot of first timers conquer their first (hopefully of many!) trail race, and grateful to all the regulars who helped welcome new friends to the sport.

We couldn't do this without our incredible volunteers and it was a hot, dry day to be out on course so you guys are definitely MVPs!

Thanks also to Fixx Nutrition for your wonderful, ongoing support.

Race results and event pics will be available online later today.

Next up for us is the South East Queensland Trail Running Series . Come and join us for a summer of racing with 8 events to choose from.

Aside from that, have a relaxing Sunday afternoon. You've all earned it!
