You built exactly the career you were supposed to build. And lately, it doesn’t quite fit the way it used to.

That feeling has probably been there longer than you’d like to admit. And the world of work shifting underneath you has made it a lot harder to keep filing away.

The Solid Ground Series is a free 11-part email series for women at exactly this crossroads with plenty of helpful tools and resources to help you think through the future of your role and career.

Free. Link in bio.

Something has shifted in how the world of work feels right now.

Not a crisis. More like a gentle pressure that wasn't there a year ago. The pace of change in your industry. Roles restructuring. AI moving faster than anyone predicted.

And a quiet awareness that the career you've built, the one you've given a lot to, might need more of your attention than you've had bandwidth to give it.

You're not panicking. You're functioning well. But there's a part of you that knows you probably should be thinking more carefully about what comes next and a much louder part that is simply too busy to do anything about it.

That gap is exactly what the free mini-course starting 25th May is for. Not a dramatic career overhaul. Not a push to leap before you're ready. Just a clear-eyed look at what the future of work actually means for someone with your background and what a smart, considered next move could look like when you have too much to lose to get it wrong.

There's a moment a lot of women I work with describe the same way.

They're sitting in a meeting or driving/commuting home from one and the thought surfaces, quiet but insistent: I don't think I want to be doing this anymore.

Not a crisis. Not a breakdown. Just a knowing that's been there for a while, getting harder to ignore.

And then the other part kicks in. The one that runs the numbers. The one that reminds you what you've built, what's at stake, what you'd be risking. The one that is, honestly, very good at its job.

So you go around the loop again. And nothing changes.

If that's familiar, I made something for you.

Starting Monday 26th May, I'm running a free two-week email series: What the Future of Work Means for Your Career (Especially If You Suspect Your Current Path Has an Expiry Date).

One lesson every two days. Practical resources included. Designed to help you get real clarity on your next move, without having to blow up what you've built to figure it out.

It's not a motivation series. It's not a theory series. It's the beginning of an actual path forward. With built in accountability and action every step of the way.

The link to join is in my bio. I'd love to see you there.

If you've been sitting in a career that looks successful but feels like a cage, I want to share something with you.

I've spent years working with smart, capable women who have done everything right. The certifications, the promotions, the mindset work. They can articulate exactly what they want and they still cannot move.

That's not a strategy problem. It runs deeper than that.

What I keep seeing is this: your nervous system is running a protection program that is stronger than your desire for change. It's protecting an identity that you've already outgrown. And no amount of CV tweaking, LinkedIn optimising, or thinking harder is going to reach it.

This is the work I do. Not just career strategy. The root of why we stay stuck even when we know it's time to go.
I have two ways to support you right now, both free.

As part of my body-mind maturation coaching training, I have a small number of practice sessions available. A genuine taster of a different kind of coaching, one that works below the thinking, in the body and nervous system where the real patterns live. If you're curious, the application link is in the bio.

I'm also putting together a free minicourse specifically for women who suspect their current path has an expiry date: What the Future of Work Means for Your Career. One Step To Pivoting Without Blowing Up What You've Built. This kicks off on Monday 25th May. Register your set in the link in bio.

If either of these feels like it's for you, come on over. I'd love to support you.

You've been thinking about this longer than you'd like to admit.

The career that made sense five years ago. The nagging feeling that something's shifted. The loop of weighing up options, talking yourself in and out of things, and ending up exactly where you started.

You're not confused. You're not behind. You're trying to make a high-stakes decision in a world of work that's changing faster than anyone predicted and the conventional advice was never designed for someone with your level of responsibility, credibility, and genuine stakes.

I've created a free 2-week email mini course for women in exactly this place.

What the Future of Work Means for Your Career (Especially if you suspect your current path has an expiry date).

During the free minicourse you'll unlock one step you can take towards pivoting without blowing up what you've built.

No generic pivot frameworks. No "just take the leap" nonsense. Just a short, honest series that will help you understand what's actually keeping you stuck and what your next move is.

We start Monday, 25th May.

🎧 NEW EPISODE DROP!

Most women I work with aren't failing.

They're high-performing, capable, and holding everything together.

And somewhere underneath all of that, there's a whisper they keep overriding.

This isn't it anymore.

In my latest conversation on The Aligned Achiever, Maggie McDaris described the moment she realised she'd been adding more to her plate just to trigger enough adrenaline to keep going.

Her body was sending signals she kept overriding. The people closest to her could already see what she couldn't.
That story isn't unusual. I hear versions of it constantly.

The woman who keeps delivering while quietly disappearing.

Who has built something impressive and wonders why it no longer feels like hers.

Who is waiting for a dramatic enough reason to finally choose herself.

What strikes me most about Maggie's journey is what came after. Not just the recovery, but the clarity. The through line she found across a career that looked non-linear from the outside, but was always pointing somewhere.

She is a builder. She was always a builder.

And what she's built now, Phase App, is helping women connect the dots between their biology and their work in ways most of us were never taught.

You don't need a breakdown to earn the right to pay attention.

This episode is a permission slip. I hope you'll listen.

👇 I'm curious to know: Do you recognise that whisper in your own life? The one you keep overriding?

When I speak with ambitious women who feel like they're running on empty, we rarely start by talking about productivity.

We talk about the exhaustion that doesn't shift after a weekend. The disconnection from your own body. The quiet guilt: "I chose this. Why does it feel so hard?"

My conversation with Maggie McDaris made something even clearer for me.

So much of what we call burnout is actually a profound disconnection from our own biology. Your body is communicating with you constantly. Most of us were just never taught to listen.

Here's where I'd begin:
1️⃣ Notice where you're forcing. The 3pm slump you caffeinate through. The creative work scheduled on your lowest energy days. Forcing isn't discipline. It's often just disconnection.

2️⃣ Track your patterns without judgment. When does your focus feel effortless? When are you most creative? Your energy is not random. Awareness comes before answers.

3️⃣ Make one biology-informed choice this week. Protect your sharpest hours. Rest when your body is asking for it. Let it be small. Let it be real.

Sustainable performance was never about doing more. It's about doing the right things, at the right time, in a body you're actually listening to.

Most women who reach out to me don’t say, “I’m in a quiet pivot.”

They say things like:

“I’ve worked so hard for this… why doesn’t it feel right?”

“Nothing is ‘wrong’ but I can’t ignore this feeling anymore.”

The real question underneath is:

How do I honour the part of me that’s outgrowing my current path without burning my whole life down?

That’s where this work comes in—not as “throw it all away and start over,” but as a grounded way to listen to yourself, get clear, and make changes that actually fit who you are now.

In Pivot Pathfinders, my 6‑month mastermind for professional women in this in‑between season, we focus on:

Getting honest about what’s no longer working (and what still is), so you can see your situation clearly

Regulating your nervous system so you’re not making big decisions from guilt, fear, or pressure

Designing aligned next steps—whether that’s staying and leading differently, or mapping an intentional pivot—through practical, low‑risk experiments

If you’ve been thinking, “My life looks fine, but something in me is shifting and I don’t know what to do with that,” this is the work.

🎧 NEW PODCAST DROP!

So many women I’m speaking to right now are saying some version of:

“On paper, my life looks great… but it doesn’t feel right anymore.”

You’ve got the career, the track record, the “should be happy” life, yet there’s a quiet whisper that says, this isn’t it, and you don’t have a clear reason why.

If you’ve been wondering, “What’s wrong with me? Why can’t I just be grateful?”
Nothing is wrong with you.
In the latest episode of The Aligned Achiever, I’m exploring what I call the quiet pivot—the in‑between season where you’re outgrowing an older version of yourself before anything has visibly changed on the outside.

If you’ve ever thought “I can’t keep doing my life like this, but I don’t know what’s next,” this one’s for you.

When I work with women who are “successful on paper,” we very rarely start by talking about big bold pivots or quitting their jobs.

We talk about the Sunday heaviness, the extra pause in the car before walking into the office, the moment in a meeting where they look around and think, “I don’t want to be this version of me anymore,” and the quiet guilt that follows: “My life is good… why doesn’t it feel right?”

You don’t need to burn everything down to honour this season. Try this instead:

1️⃣ Name the whisper honestly
What is the sentence you’re scared to say out loud?
“It’s not this role.” “It’s not this industry.” “It’s not this pace.”
Write it down without fixing it. Simply naming the whisper is the first act of integrity.

2️⃣ Track where you feel most “vacant”
Notice the moments you feel slightly checked out—at your desk, in certain meetings, with certain people. Instead of judging yourself, get curious: What part of me has outgrown this? What used to feel aligned here that doesn’t anymore? Awareness comes before answers.

3️⃣ Make one micro-aligned choice
You don’t have to decide your whole future this week. Choose one small action that honours who you’re becoming: saying no to a non-essential project, carving out an hour for reflection, having an honest conversation with someone you trust. Let it be doable, not dramatic.

The quiet pivot isn’t about throwing your life away or being ungrateful for what you’ve built.

It’s about telling the truth about what no longer fits, so you can make grounded, courageous decisions that create a career and life that feel like home to the woman you are now—not just the one you used to be.
