2026 Barra Nationals what a week, not sure if we can really put everything into words. We went from a strong start day 1 to nearly sinking day 2 and not knowing if we would really be able to get back into the comp. But somehow day 3 we managed to pull out some magic and absolutely smash it, with our 5 fish bag consisting of 2 80s 2 90s and Sam Chambers metery which set us up for the next 2 days and the rest is history.

As for Day 2 we would like to say a massive thanks to everyone who helped us with our boat dramas especially everyone at the boat ramp who helped us get the boat onto the trailer so quickly to save as much as we could. Also thanks to everyone around camp for helping whether it was lending parts to get live scopes set up in the new boat and everything else in between we needed. Another person we would like to thank is John Chambers for lending us his boat which is probably the main reason we won this competition, without the boat we would of been nowhere so can’t thank you enough.

Huge shoutout to Palmerston Game Fishing Club and banyan farm for all of the hard work and effort everyone put in to make sure this competition went ahead and making it one of the best there was.

Lastly we would like to thank all of our sponsors for helping us get to the Nats and fish as good as we could.
