✨️Sis, can I tell you something that took me years to learn?
The Food isn't the problem.
I know you think if you could just stop overeating...
Stop binge eating...
Stop reaching for the chips, cookies, or drive-thru when you're stressed...
Everything would finally fall into place.
That's exactly what I used to believe.
But the truth?
Binge eating was never about the food for meh.
✨️Food was my escape.
✨️My comfort.
✨️My distraction.
✨️My best friend.
✨️My way of numbing the stress, overwhelm, disappointment, & pain I didn't want to FEEL.
For a few minutes, it made me feel better.
Then came the guilt.
The shame.
The frustration of watching the scale climb higher & higher. 🤦🏽♀️

And one day, I had a hard conversation with myself.
I realized I wasn't stuck bc I lacked willpower.
I was stuck bc I kept using FOOD to solve problems that only going inward could ever fix 💯
That ⚡️R E A L I Z A T I O N⚡️ changed everything.
Instead of asking,
"How do I stop eating?"
I started asking,
"What am I trying NOT to feel?"
That's when healing began. 🙌🏽
For me, strength training became an outlet.
Not bc it magically burned all the calories.
But bc every workout helped me release STRESS instead of consume it
Every LB I lifted helped rebuild confidence that yrs of emotional eating had taken away.
& little by little, the weight came off.
But more importantly...
I stopped feeling Controlled by food!

Your breakthrough isn't in finding the next 'Diet'.
👉🏽It's in getting honest about what's eating YOU inside.
Bc when you address the root cause, the behaviors that have been holding you back begin to lose their power.
You don't have to keep repeating the same cycle.
You don't have to keep making excuses & pointing the finger.
You CAN choose a different response.
You CAN choose a different story.
