Whether you've played rugby for years or have never picked up a ball before, we'd love to welcome you to Leeds Hunters Rugby New Players Day!

Rugby is about so much more than the game. It's about finding your team, building confidence, getting fitter, and making friends for life. No experience? No problem. Our coaches and players will guide you every step of the way in a fun, supportive and inclusive environment.

Bingham is too expensive. Here in Yorkshire, we’re famous in the UK for being cheap, and we’re proud of it.

That’s why our Bingham bid has affordability as a guiding principle. We want to deliver value for money for all, to stop the crazy cost escalation, to put on a fair game at a fair price.

Because inclusive rugby cannot come with an exclusive cost.

On Friday morning, we almost forfeited today’s series day due to low numbers.. but the Hunters rallied together to bring an excellent performance - finishing overall in 3rd place on the day🥉. We had some fantastic score lines against strong opposition squads, testament to the massive shift in defence from everyone. Big thanks to our contact players who stepped in and played as naturals. Super fun day as always, thank you to for hosting!

The Amanda Mark Cup (FLINTA division) will proceed under special arrangements that ensure trans women are able to participate enabling us to create a safe, fair and inclusive playing environment for all.

We believe that rugby is for everyone. We’re taking that spirit to the global stage as we bid for the 2028 Bingham and Amanda Mark Cup.

Leeds is a city with a proud rugby heritage, excellent transport links, and a proven record of hosting large-scale international and LGBTQ+ events.

Crucially, it is home to a visible, active, and resilient LGBTQ+ community. Leeds does not simply have the capacity to host the Bingham Cup — it reflects its spirit.

It’s time to show the world what Northern hospitality looks like.
