The 6th annual 🚨 5 Alarm Derby started out with the best weather we have had in a few shows, bringing out the spectators and drivers! We can't thank everyone enough for making this a great show and supporting the Cochranton Volunteer Fire Dept & Emergency Service. Shout out to Jason at Old Horse Track Enterprise for the awesome track prep, the ring of fire was perfect! πŸ’ͺ We achieved a new record for car count with 😲 22 Vans, 14 4 Cyl compacts, 13 4/6 Powderpuff, 15 4/6 Cyl Midsize, and 4 Full size! πŸš— πŸ’₯ You drivers really brought the heat on the track and integrity off the track. There were very little Re-techs and we thank you for that and for building within the rules. Thank you to all who arrived earlier as that really helps us to keep things moving along.

πŸš‘ We had an injured driver who was taken to the hospital and we are happy report he is ok and very sore, but in good spirits.

The hope is that these cars would be cheaper to pick up and go out and have some fun without having to run against the heavier Camry, W bodies, and large wheel base vehicles.

Wishing you all a happy and safe Memorial Day! As you spend time w family, friends, or in the garage take a minute to reflect on all that is good in your life, it starts with the provision that God gives us and the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross for us to live and to live on spiritually.

We can't thank everyone enough for braving the cold and wind on the mountain. A great crowd on hand!
