This is your friendly reminder that you don’t need to buy garlic powder. Save your garlic skins. Once they’ve been dry for a few days, bake them on a cookie sheet at 170°. Check them every 20 minutes until they’re crispy and you can break them apart with your fingers easily. Then blend them up. Voilà- homemade garlic powder!
