Castaic Lake Dragon Boat Club - Home of Team Dragon Eyes Team Dragon Eyes is a vibrant Dragonboat club located at Castaic Lake. This is where teamwork, fun, and fitness collide. Join us! Or create your own team.

Whether you’re paddling for passion or building a corporate crew, we’ll help you make waves! We practice on Sundays at 7:30am at Castaic Lake, Lower Lagoon (entrance on Castaic Lake Drive_. We will provide life vest (PFD) and a paddle. At the car entry kiosk, just tell the park attendant you are here for dragonboat, then turn to the right, left at stop sign. Parking costs $12 per entry or you can

purchase the Annual Activity Pass for $40. We want to bring this over 2000 year old legendary sport right to our Castaic Lake area. One of our coach has a competitive dragonboating past, He had a great time as a member of the Killer Guppies team (Long Beach), and missed the camaraderie after moving out to the Santa Clarita area. We want to help others experience the same energy he had working out with a supportive community of paddlers. We had a great time paddling, and eating, and winning the bling-bling of medals. 🚣‍♀️ Ever wondered what it feels like to paddle a dragon? 🐉

Spoiler: It’s less “Game of Thrones,” more “splash, laugh, paddle, repeat.” 🐉💦

On Sunday, August 24, Team Dragon Eyes are throwing open the boat for anyone curious about dragon boating. No experience? No problem. We’ll teach you everything — from holding a paddle to not accidentally baptizing your seatmate. Ok, well maybe you’ll accidentally get your teammates wet.

We provide a paddle and PDF/life vest. So bring yourself, your family, your friends, water, comfy clothes, and a sense of adventure (or humor — we like both). Ages 9 and up.

Come find out why we keep coming back for the workout, the adrenaline, and the team that feels like family (minus the awkward holiday dinners).
