This wasn’t just another race. It was 3.1 miles of love, remembrance, and hope. We ran in honor of our friend’s mom and everyone impacted by ovarian cancer. 💙🩵

Today was WAYYYY too beautiful not to get a run in 🌤️💨

I switched it up & did a run workout — deets below:

🩷 warmup | 1 mi
🩷 recover | 200m

🩷 work | 400m
🩷 recovery | 200m
repeat 4x

🩷 cooldown | 1mi.

If you have an Apple Watch I can send it to you directly & it’ll add to your workouts 😅🏃🏽‍♀️. No having to worry about starting & stopping your watch for each interval.

I contemplated ever running again while I was dying during this race 🙂.

• I’ll never run an evening race again - truly a terrible idea.
• my shin is swollen.
• I didn’t run at all leading up to this race - dumb af.
• tied my shoes way too tight.
• my shoes felt like bricks on my feet last mile.
• the air was thicker than my thighs
• I lost internet not even halfway so had to listen to the sound of my heavy breathing

Only positive is I finished 2nd out of my age group 🥈😅

SLOWEST & HARDEST 3miles of my life 🫠. Not kidding my last .14 my hr reached 200.
