Pousada Lotus is a new, modern, stylish Bed and Breakfast in the small relaxed fishermen’s village and top kite spot Prea, on the north-eastern coast of Brazil in the state Ceara. It is a warm, cosy place where you can relax, enjoy and meet. The pousada has four colourful, luxurious private bungalows. Each bungalow has air conditioning and a ventilator, a hot water shower, an electronic safe and i

ts own kite storage. Every morning we serve a delicious tropical breakfast with home made bread on your own private terrace. After breakfast you can relax in the hammock. At night you can watch the amazing star sky from the roof terrace of your bungalow.

We, Sandi and Pat, offer you hospitality and will make your stay at Pousada Lotus in Prea an unforgettable one.
We were building Pousada Lotus with a team of great Brazilian constructors from 2007 until the opening in 2008.

Our background is quite a national mix. Pat is Dutch with an Italian touch who arrived in Brazil in 2005. After this six months trip, she swoped her hectic TV production life for the relaxed Brazilian way of living.
Sandi is a Swiss kiter/surfer with a Slovenian touch. He has a gastronomic and business background. In 2006 he went to Prea for holidays. On the tropical beach of Jericoacoara we felt in love and decided to make Brazil as our second home.
We speak English, German, Dutch, Swiss, Slovenian, French, Portuguese and a little Italian.
