Moonee Ponds United SC was founded in 2005 by local soccer enthusiasts. Something unheard of after only being in existence for a mere 5 years.
Our inaugural season of 2006 saw the Club field one Senior team however due to a great demand and support generated the club has grown to field three Junior and two Senior teams in 2007. In 2008, Moonee Ponds United SC won it's first Championship in the club's short history conquering the Provisional Two N/W League. It followed that amazing achievement in 2009 by yet again finishing in a promotion
position meaning the club, still in it's infancy would in 2010 be competing in the Men's State Leagues.
