The gentle nature of Bowen Therapy means that direct skin contact is not always necessary for it to be effective.

We are trained to work with clients who are fully clothed, making it a comfortable and convenient option for those who prefer to remain dressed during the session.

The carotid arteries are major pathways supplying blood to the brain, travelling through a complex landscape of muscles, fascia, joints, and nerves in the neck.

When head and neck posture shifts — such as in a forward head position — it can increase muscular load and tension in surrounding tissues. Over time, this may contribute to strain, reduced movement efficiency, and increased demands on the body’s regulatory systems.

From a Bowen Therapy perspective, the focus isn’t on forcing posture correction, but on supporting balance across the whole system.

Gentle input, strategic pauses, and attention to global patterns may help the body reduce unnecessary effort and reorganise itself more efficiently.
