The Reserves faced Weekley Rovers Titans at West Glebe and we knew that it wasn’t going to be a beautiful Sunday with 3 dropouts before the gaffer had even woken up.
An early goal from a communication error gave Weekley the lead. Chances came for Corby but never materialised into anything and Weekley shown their quality by getting a second before half time. Even number of chances first half but just could not get a goal.
3 injuries during the game killed a lot of momentum but the subs put the effort in to try and keep us in the game. Unfortunately the mentality wasn’t there today from the lads and Weekley capitalised on it to end the game 4-0. Not much can be said a poor performance today but we look to bounce back as always.
Man of the match goes to the skipper Harry Reed who covered in most positions today.
Dick of the day goes to Danny Furey and Nathan Fitz who dropped out and were last seen with a couple dodgy characters in Kettering town centre at 6am.
