Check out the Blood Moon Event 2026 Trailer for Dead by Daylight, the asymmetrical action multiplayer horror game developed by Behaviour Interactive.
Players will be able to access new content from the upcoming event, including unlockable rewards, Blood Generators, and community challenges to complete as a player base.
Turn to the crimson moon during the Blood Moon Event for Dead by Daylight, running from March 26 through April 16.

Big news from the gaming world today 😔

Epic Games announced they're laying off approximately 1,000 employees. According to CEO Tim Sweeney, Fortnite's player engagement has been declining since 2025, and the company has been spending significantly more than they're earning.

This comes just days after Epic raised the prices of V-Bucks, their in-game currency. The company is also cutting $500 million in costs across contracts and marketing.

For those affected: Epic is providing 4 months of severance pay and 6 months of continued healthcare coverage.

Keiichi Toyama, the legendary creator of Silent Hill, Siren, and Gravity Rush, has announced that his studio Bokeh Game Studio is recruiting for a brand-new, large-scale project. Details are scarce, but Toyama described it as something "only we can make" — a bold promise from one of gaming's most original minds.

After last year's Slitterhead, it's clear he has even bigger ambitions for what comes next.

💔 Sad news from the gaming industry today.

Several developers at WB Games Montréal — the studio behind Batman: Arkham Origins and Gotham Knights — have posted on LinkedIn that March 13 was their last day. Warner Bros. hasn't officially confirmed anything yet, but the signs are hard to ignore.

It's been a rough stretch for WB's gaming division: Su***de Squad underperformed, the Wonder Woman game got cancelled, and MultiVersus shut down. Now with a Paramount merger reportedly requiring heavy cost-cutting, more changes may be coming.

Our thoughts go out to everyone affected. If you're a dev looking for opportunities, the community has your back.
